Dr. Mohamed Awad Ibrahim, Chairman of the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA), confirmed that all Commercial Registry offices and branches across the republic are operating normally during official working hours, ensuring continuous service delivery to citizens and the business sector without disruption.
The Chairman explained that the regularity of work proceeds in parallel with the implementation of state directives regarding the reduction of electricity consumption and energy rationalization. Remote work mechanisms have been applied within relevant departments to maintain performance continuity while achieving energy-saving goals.
Dr. Mohamed Awad pointed out that he has directed all departments and offices nationwide to strictly adhere to energy rationalization procedures to the maximum extent possible, aligning with the state's plan to raise resource efficiency and reduce expenditures in light of current economic variables.
He emphasized that these rationalization measures will not affect work progress or the quality of services provided to citizens and investors. He stressed that the Authority continues to monitor performance moment by moment to ensure the rapid completion of transactions and efficiently meet clients' needs.
Furthermore, the Chairman added that ITDA prioritizes maintaining the stability of the service system and ensuring Commercial Registry services remain easily accessible, while fully committing to the state's orientation in the electricity and energy rationalization file.
Dr. Awad concluded his statements by affirming that ITDA operates according to a balanced vision that combines maintaining service efficiency for citizens with supporting the state's efforts in rational resource management.
