Within the framework of the protocol signed between the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) and Egypt Post, Dr. Mohamed Awad, Chairman of ITDA, received a delegation from the Post led by Mr. Sayed Tammam, Vice Chairman of Egypt Post. The meeting aimed to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation, particularly in providing Commercial Registry services through the extensive network of post offices distributed across all governorates.
The meeting focused on following up the executive status for the commencement of providing secured Commercial Registry extracts through both Registry and Post offices. They also discussed mechanisms for printing official documents on secured papers and distributing them to various offices to ensure fast and seamless service delivery to citizens without delay.
Both parties discussed the possibility of providing a delivery service for Commercial Registry extracts to citizens' residences or company headquarters in record time, potentially reaching as fast as two hours, in cooperation with Egypt Post. This step significantly contributes to saving time and effort for clients and enhances the efficiency of the service delivery system.
The meeting also witnessed discussions on future expansion into providing certain Commercial Registry services electronically via digital platforms belonging to Egypt Post, in addition to benefiting from collection services provided by the Post. This supports the state's efforts in digital transformation and developing government services, allowing citizens and businesses to access services easily through multiple channels.
Dr. Mohamed Awad emphasized that cooperation with Egypt Post represents a vital step in ITDA's efforts to modernize the service system for citizens and investors. He pointed out that the wide geographical spread of post offices, which includes more than 4,700 branches nationwide, provides a powerful infrastructure that can be leveraged to expand the reach of Commercial Registry services.
Technical aspects related to operational mechanisms and coordination between the concerned departments were also addressed, with the goal of ensuring that services are provided according to the highest standards of accuracy and security, especially regarding official secured documents to maintain their reliability and integrity.
