In implementation of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, regarding the development and maximization of ITDA's assets, Dr. Mohamed Awad Ibrahim, Chairman of the Authority, met with the committee tasked with inventorying unutilized assets.
This meeting aligns with the state's direction toward maximizing the benefits of public assets and enhancing their management efficiency, consistent with economic reform and institutional transformation plans.
During the meeting, Brigadier General Ahmed Fathy, Vice Chairman of ITDA, presented the committee's findings, highlighting the classification of unutilized assets affiliated with the Authority. He also presented a study on the optimal exploitation of these assets to achieve the highest possible economic return.
Dr. Mohamed Awad Ibrahim emphasized the pivotal role of this committee in supporting the Authority’s future plans. He stressed the need to adopt innovative and non-traditional solutions in asset management to boost ITDA's self-generated resources and achieve financial sustainability, while strictly adhering to legal regulations and institutional standards.
The meeting discussed several practical proposals to maximize asset utilization, either by repurposing them for service and commercial activities or by entering strategic partnerships with the private sector. These steps aim to support development plans and enhance the institutional performance of the Authority.
This meeting is part of a series of periodic sessions held by ITDA to monitor the execution of its strategic plans, enhance governance principles, and achieve optimal use of state resources. The session was attended by several ITDA leaders and representatives from various departments.
