In light of the directives of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, to accelerate digital linkage with Chambers of Commerce, the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) held a series of coordination meetings with officials from Alexandria, Menoufia, and North Sinai chambers.

The meetings focused on the proposal to establish "Commercial Registry Excellence Centers" in these governorates. This project aims to elevate the standard of services provided to citizens and merchants, enhance digital transformation, and improve the efficiency of commercial service infrastructure.

The sessions were chaired by Vice Chairmen Mr. Karim El-Shafei and Brigadier General Ahmed Fathy, with the participation of Mr. Kamel Ahmed, Head of the Central Administration for Commercial Registry, and Eng. Ashraf Jado, Head of the Trade Information Center.

During the meetings, Authority officials presented the proposed vision for the Excellence Centers. These centers are designed to provide advanced services according to the highest quality standards, contributing to faster registration and update procedures, improving user experience, and reducing service time. This aligns with the state's orientation toward automating government services and enhancing institutional performance.

The discussions included a review of approved center models, technical requirements, and the latest technological applications necessary to ensure unified service standards and maximum benefit from digital infrastructure.

The meeting with the Alexandria Chamber was attended by Secretary General Mohamed El-Mahdawy, Assistant Secretary General Iman Saif, and the IT and Digital Transformation team. From Menoufia, Maj. Gen. Dr. Hesham Shawky and board members participated, while the North Sinai session was attended by MP Abdel Aziz Matar, Chairman of the North Sinai Chamber.

ITDA officials emphasized that these centers are part of a comprehensive plan to develop commercial services and support the investment environment. The Authority confirmed that coordination with the chambers and partners will continue to ensure the rapid completion of the project according to the highest technical and regulatory standards.
