Dr. Mohamed Awad Ibrahim, Chairman of the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA), held a meeting with a delegation from ADVANSYS, led by Chairman Mr. Yasser Azzam, to explore joint cooperation in digital transformation and supporting the internal trade ecosystem.
The meeting, which aligns with the directives of the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, addressed a proposal to establish a specialized digital platform for e-commerce. The platform aims to measure market prices and facilitate electronic purchasing, contributing to enhanced transparency and price control.
This initiative is part of the state's efforts to utilize modern technology to stabilize markets, improve service levels provided to consumers, and empower citizens to easily access the best prices for essential commodities.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Karim El-Shafei, Vice Chairman of ITDA, alongside several officials from the Authority. Both parties emphasized the importance of joint coordination to ensure rapid implementation and the achievement of strategic goals.
