In a new step towards enhancing digital transformation and developing government services, the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) held an expanded meeting with the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC) at the Authority's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
The meeting aimed to discuss ways of joint cooperation and institutional integration between the two parties. Several leaders and officials from both institutions attended, agreeing on the preparation of a cooperation protocol targeted at achieving full electronic linkage. This linkage will allow for immediate and secure data exchange, contributing to raising the efficiency of government performance.
The agreement includes providing electronic verification services for registration certificates in the commercial agents and advertising registries, in addition to the possibility of verifying the validity of commercial registry data electronically, which enhances transparency and data accuracy.
Both parties also agreed to provide GOEIC with commercial registry data for companies registered with it, supporting database updates and achieving informational integration. Furthermore, they are studying the possibility of making each entity's services available through the other's outlets to facilitate access for citizens and investors.
Both parties emphasized that this cooperation falls within the state's orientation towards implementing a comprehensive digital transformation system, expanding reliance on electronic means, and working towards the gradual elimination of paper document circulation. This aims to achieve speed in transaction completion and raise institutional performance efficiency.
This cooperation is expected to contribute to improving the business climate, enhancing investor confidence, and providing more efficient and flexible government services in the coming period.
