Dr. Mohamed Awad Ibrahim, Chairman of the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA), held an expanded meeting with Brigadier General Ahmed Fathy, Vice Chairman, and the General Department of Inspection. The meeting aimed to follow up on work progress, enhance performance efficiency, and drive institutional development efforts within the Authority.
The meeting addressed several key files related to the work of the General Department of Inspection, primarily reviewing the department's semi-annual plan. This plan includes executive targets aimed at raising the efficiency of the inspection system, achieving administrative discipline, and improving the level of services provided to citizens and those dealing with ITDA.
Discussions also covered the control, follow-up, and work governance plan. This plan contributes to developing periodic monitoring mechanisms for the Commercial Registry and executing inspection tasks regularly and rapidly, relying on modern electronic systems to facilitate workflows, enhance data accuracy, and achieve the highest levels of governance and transparency.
The meeting saw the presentation of several proposals to develop work within the department, alongside discussing organizational and technical matters that would support institutional performance, overcome obstacles, and improve the work environment in line with the state's directions toward administrative modernization and comprehensive digital transformation.
In this context, a proposal was discussed to prepare an organized statistical and graphical analysis of the Authority's complaints. This analysis aims to classify complaints, monitor their trends, and follow up on their handling stages, contributing to rapid response times, enhancing resolution mechanisms, and achieving citizen satisfaction with the services provided.
Emphasis was also placed on the importance of preparing awareness materials and introductory infographics that explain the steps and mechanisms for obtaining Commercial Registry services. This will help simplify procedures, raise awareness among citizens, and reduce the rates of complaints and inquiries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Mohamed Awad Ibrahim thanked the staff of the General Department of Inspection, praising the efforts made during the previous period. He stressed the leadership's commitment to supporting personnel and fostering a "one team" spirit to achieve ITDA's goals and support the internal trade system in accordance with the state's vision for sustainable development.
